R. Scott Clark has an excellent post speaking to the return of the Battle for the Bible. I would say as I posted over there, it has never ended, rather we who hold to inerrancy were lulled into a sleep back in the 80s so that Mordor could be slowly rebuilt while we thumped our chests. So this time let us remember that this is a perennial battle, and will continue on until the Lord returns, for the flesh hates the idea that there is an authority, viz. the Word of God, that tells it that it is not sovereign.
